As you may (or may not) know, we took the kids on their first flight back in March. That’s right, we survived the flight and got our kids to Fort Myers Beach for the weekend! We explored and shelled. We stayed at an amazing resort. Oh, and we took a little Sunset Dolphin Tour!If you have not been on a sunset dolphin tour in the gulf of Mexico, I highly recommend it! I also recommend that you check out Adventures in Paradise, because they are an amazing, family owned business, that gives awesome and informational excursions and tours!
We departed from the Port Sanibel Marina and headed out to see some dolphins!
The mangroves were simply beautiful and, there was some kind of native bird on almost every marker post!
Now, I had been whale watching once before and my husband had been out on the ocean before. However, it was the first time, in a boat, on the ocean, for both of the kids and they absolutely loved it!
It was truly, an amazing and unforgettable, memory making adventure! Oh, and we did, indeed, see Bottle Nose Dolphins. The boy was ecstatic!
If you have ever seen the sunset over an open body of water, you know how magical it is! If you haven’t seen it, I suggest you do! It is like nature painted the sky, just for you!

We got to experience something amazing, together as a family, for the first time and I don’t think ANY of us will forget it!
