Without realizing it, we often find ourselves in a mindless routine in our daily life. Often, it’s a mix of being busy and stressed out that causes us to get into this numb state of being. Before you know it, the days blur together, and you find yourself having a hard time remaining present when you are trying to do activities that you love, or even just being present at work or at home. It’s a trap that we all fall into far too frequently. That lack of mindfulness. We find ourselves longing for something different. Here are some ways to manifest the reality you want to be in!
Spend 5 minutes every morning
The way that you start your day is what dictates the way that the rest of your day will go, so you may as well try to set yourself up for success. When you wake up in the morning, before grabbing your phone to scroll through your notifications, just take five minutes and be mindful. Sit on the edge of your bed, and place your feet on the floor. Close your eyes. Focus on one part of your body at a time, let yourself feel your toes, your legs, your fingertips. Once you’ve woken up every part of your body, think about the day that you have ahead of you. Just let yourself sit and be aware of yourself, of your goals, and of your being.
Set your intentions
We all want to have good days. Wouldn’t it be great to completely eliminate bad days? While you can’t control all of the things that happen to you, you can control the way that you react to them. And you can control whether or not you let a few bad moments dictate the rest of your day. It’s helpful to set your intentions, at any point during the day. Take the time to do it in the morning, sit down and set your intentions. You can write them in your daily planner or a journal, or simply think or say them. They don’t have to be elaborate. Just spend time visualizing how you want your day to go. You want to be happy, you want to be productive, you want to accomplish things on your to-do list. Let the universe know your intentions so that you can succeed.
Something that a lot of people find helpful in their journey of self love and mindfulness, is daily affirmations. An affirmation is a phrase that you say to yourself. Affirming who you are, what you love about yourself, and your character. Your affirmations can be anything that you want. Try saying them to yourself in the mirror, or sit calmly on your couch with your eyes closed, repeating your affirmations to yourself. The things you use to affirm yourself daily are personal, and you should choose affirmations that make you feel good and successful, no matter what your goals are. Here are a few of my favorites, to get you started:
-I am beautiful
-I am loved
-I am successful in all areas of my life
-I am a magnet for success
-My income is constantly increasing
-I am surrounded by love
-My creativity is flowing
Your affirmations should be personalized to whatever is going to be most impactful for you to hear on a daily basis.
Manifesting your desires to the universe
There is a lot of speculation surrounding manifestation. If manifestation isn’t your cup of tea, you can stop here. A lot of people love affirmations but aren’t fans of manifestation. What if I told you that affirmations are a type of manifestation? If you’re doubting yourself and your abilities, give that doubt to the universe. You don’t have to do this alone.
Tell the universe what you want. Some people find it is more helpful to be specific, and others, think that a vague idea is better because the universe will fill in the blanks. Essentially, by speaking out loud of the things that you want more of in your life, those things will be attracted to you by way of the universe. If your budget is tight, and you need to increase your income, tell that to the universe, but make sure that you focus on the positive aspects. Don’t fixate on a number, just manifest a higher salary.
The best way to make manifestation truly beneficial, is to actively seek out the things you manifest. Working hard and manifestation go hand in hand, and will help you find success in all areas of your life.
