You can enjoy a vanilla sweet cream cold brew any time when you have a recipe to make at home. Not only will you save money over the Starbucks version, but you’ll be able to control the ingredients. It’s no real surprise that I drink coffee. I mean, come on. I’m a mom. I’m the mad mommy. Not like angry mad, but cuckoo mad. You know what I’m saying, right?
Anyway, coffee is like, the nectar of the moms! (Waits for AMEN moment to pass)
So, I think its more of a surprise when a mom DOESN’T drink coffee! Seriously? No coffee? How are you standing?
Well, I drink multiple cups of coffee a day and I like to treat myself to some Starbucks when I grocery shop! Who doesn’t, right?! Lately, I have really been diggin’ the vanilla cold-brew with sweet cream, and now I can make my own Starbucks copycat cold-brew with vanilla sweet cream!
Starbucks Copycat Cold-brew with Vanilla Sweet Cream
First, you’ll want to make your own cold-brew!
How to cold brew coffee
4 cups of water
1 cup of ground coffee (just short of 1 cup, about 4 ounces)
1 mason jar or container
Cheesecloth and a fine strainer
Mix the ground coffee and water together in a mason jar or some other container. Cover the jar and allow the coffee to steep in the fridge for at least 12 hours. Once it is ready, place your cheesecloth into your strainer and strain your cold-brew into another container. Seal it and keep it in the fridge for up to one week.
This Copycat Starbucks Cold-Brew with Vanilla Sweet Cream is simple to make and even easier to enjoy! I love being able to have a glass whenever I like!
Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew Coffee Recipe
Copycat Starbucks Cold-Brew with Vanilla Sweet Cream
- 1/4 cup half and half
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla simple syrup
- 6 oz. cold-brew coffee
Begin with a cup filled with ice and about a finger’s worth of water in the bottom.
Add the syrup into the half and half, mix to combine to make the vanilla sweet cream.
Pour your cold-brew coffee over the ice, leave room for the vanilla cream.
Pour the vanilla sweet cream into your cold-brew over ice and enjoy!
