I am always looking for easy ways to pump up the volume in my food and this avocado recipe does just that! You can use this Avocado Lime Crema in so many ways! Put it on enchiritos, spread it on your toast, bagel or sandwich, dress your salads with it (leaf salad, chicken salad, egg salad, pasta salad, it works on them all!), or my favorite use, a delicious chip or veggie dip!
Crema with Lime and Avocado Recipe:
My kitchen goal is always, minimal work with maximum effort and this avocado recipe hits all the marks! Short ingredient list, minimum prep, dump and blend, and of course, no ACTUAL cooking! It is one of the easiest multi-purpose recipes that I have!
- 1/2 of a ripe Avocado
- 2 scallions (just the greens)
- the juice from 1/2 a lime
- 1 kale leaf (pull the greens off the stalk)
- 1/4 cup of sour cream
- 3 Tbs of ranch dressing
- a pinch of salt
- a pinch of black pepper
Toss it all straight into your blender!
Blend or pulse the mixture until you get a consistency that you like. It should be somewhat smooth, but if you like it a little chunky, like guacamole, go for it!
Pour it into a cute, little serving bowl and serve it with some veggies and/or chips! You can serve it right away or refrigerate it. Don’t forget, this is a multi-purpose recipe, so try some avocado toast or jazz up your chicken salad!
Avocado Lime Crema
- 1/2 Ripe Avocado
- 2 Scallions just the greens
- 1 Kale Leaf pull greens and discard stalk
- Juice from half a Lime
- 1/4 cup Sour Cream
- 3 tbsp Ranch Dressing
- pinch of Salt and Pepper
Place all ingredients into your blender.
Serve or Refrigerate.
