Time for fun, friends, food on a stick, and family, but did you know that the Minnesota State Fair is also a great place to shop? Yup! The fair has it all! Eating, shopping and more!
Of course, there is always amazing food and this year is no different! There are come great food vendors coming back with new offerings, like the French Meadow Bakery & Cafe with their delicious Rustic Beef Pastry:
Or the Blue Moon Dine-In Theater and their take on a classic with Cheesy French Onion Monkey Bread:
and some new vendors introducing themselves for the first time, like the gluten-free, food truck driving Tot Boss!
There are wonderful vendors like Sara and Angela from i like you who have been at the Minnesota State Fair for 7 years now! They feature merchandise by local artists and in the past 10 years have given over 3 million dollars back to the local community!
There are also incredible vendors and artists like Heidi from Birchberry Native Arts and Foods. Herself and many of the artists are honored members of the White Earth Reservation. A lot of what she sells goes right back into the White Earth Community.
You can find almost any merchandise that you want at the Minnesota State Fair! There are also many different discount days, such as Thrifty Thursday, Military Appreciation Day and Seniors Day! August 26th will also be United in Purple in honor of Prince. The whole fair, included the laser light shows will go purple to honor the late and great Purple One.
This year is also Fairchild’s 50th year at the Minnesota State Fair, so don’t forget to stop by Visitor’s Plaza at 11am and 4pm to meet Fairchild, his nephew Fairborne and reserve a special button to honor his 50th year!
