I am really into quick and easy recipes. It makes being a parent easier, it makes my night easier and it makes me feel better! Here is a simple and quick chili recipe that doesn’t taste simple or quick!

Here is what you need:

Don’t get overwhelmed by the amount of spices, it goes quick because you just toss them all into this one pot wonder!

Alright, here we go.

Dice up your peppers and green onions and put them in a big pot with your ground beef and brown it on medium heat! (I had these cute mini bell peppers but regular bell peppers work just as well!)

Once your meat has browned, add in your beans (drain the kidney beans), jar of sauce and half a jar of water. Then add your spices. Stir together. (My jar was a 24 oz jar of pasta sauce, traditional flavor. Feel free to experiment.)
You should be at about the 10-12 minute mark. Bring this to a low boil and then reduce the heat and let it simmer for the rest of the time. About 15 minutes. It will be thick and delicious!
I serve my chili with a few toppings. Fresh Roma tomatoes, the chopped greens from the green onions, crushed up tortilla chips, a couple different kinds of cheese and of course, sour cream.
Here is a quick and easy 30 minute chili recipe that doesn't taste quick or easy!
Doesn’t that look fantastic?
I could lick the screen!
Hot, delicious, simple dinner in only 30 minutes and no one will know how easy it was!

MMM it looks like a tex mex sort of chili. I'm liking it. I can see how simple it really is though despite the different spices that are included. Once you get them together all you have to do is add them so that still makes it easy in my book 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Countdown in Style! Don't forget to stop by Friday to see if you are featured!

Looks yummy to me! Does it remind you of any restaurant's chili or anything? I'm always scared I'll make something and not like it.

I'm not sure about restaurants but this chili is very pallet pleasing. It is also extremely versatile and easy to suit to one's tastes.
