Spring time and the Grillin’s easy! Mmmm, the sweet smell of charcoal and hickory! My husband LOVES to grill and I LOVE preparing stuff for him to grill. Last night we had strip steaks and corn hot off the grill! It was truly a finger lickin’ dinner. I am going to share my favorite Steak Rub recipe with you! It is super easy and if you want to, you can double the recipe and keep extra in the fridge.
Here is what you will need to make my Great Steak Rub:
Grab a little bowl and measure out your dry ingredients and drop them in. We have seasoning salt, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika and brown sugar. YUM!
Now, measure your worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and olive oil. Add them to your dry mix.
Let’s mix it up! When it is fully combined, it will have a wet sand texture.
Awesome, grab your meat! Now, rub your meat! Rub it real good! Haha. Ok, I’m done. You really want to make sure that you get a nice coating on your meat.
Once your meat has a glisten coat of rub on it, let it sit. Let it soak in that rub for at least half an hour. I like to let mine sit for 45 minutes to an hour. Grill it up! When it comes off of your grill, it will have a beautiful shine and a delicious crust!
