If your house is anything like mine, then you have toys. You have toys everywhere. You have toys in every room. You might even have a few toys under your pillow and you don’t even know it. Toys are like germs, they just continuously spread, so you have to come up with a few ways to keep them in their place. Here are a few of my simple solutions for toy storage.
Do you have to clear the tub of toys before you can even shower? Do those toys constantly stay wet and you don’t even want to think about what is growing on them? Yeah, I did too, until I got a tub toy drainer! Seriously, best thing EVER. It adjusts to fit any tub and my daughter actually LIKES putting her toys in it when she is done with her bath!

LEGOs and snap together building blocks:
The bane of every parent’s existence, am I right? They are everywhere. They are hard to keep track of and even harder to sort. Well, unless you have a LEGO sorting box, like we do! This is not the exact same one the we have, but it does the exact same thing and this one, might even be a little nicer!

Pencils, Crayons and Markers:
My kids never keep anything in the box it comes in. Even if that box is the perfect way to store it. Colored pencils, crayons and marker boxes get RIPPED open and the contents get dumped all over the table, counter-top or floor. I found that these handled caddies are perfect for containing that mess.

Small Toys or Puzzles:
My daughter loves puzzles! She also has a thing for tiny toys like Twozies, Littlest Pet Shop and Shopkins, but again, they end up everywhere! You know who else likes those tiny toys? Our yorkie, Stark! He loves to EAT THEM UP! Puzzle pieces, don’t even get me started on those! Nothing sucks more than your kid wanting to do a puzzle with you and then, you are missing pieces! Keeping them in a plastic pencil box (with a picture of the completed puzzle) can help!
