We reached a milestone the other day when my son ACTUALLY mowed the lawn. I was elated! I was proud! I was a little misty-eyed! I was then informed that according to the law, he shouldn’t do that until he is 16. What the hell?
I tell my kids that I am going to California and their response is, “Can you bring back Dunkin Donuts?!”. #MinnesotanProblems
On Thursday, I will get to see the Pacific Ocean for the first time and I am so excited! I’m sure my reaction will be similar to this.
I finally bought hangers for our closet and my husband hung up some of our clothes. We are so close to adulting that it is scary! This is after a decade of clothes-piles, btw.
My husband is being left alone and in charge of our children, for 4 days, for the first time since we became parents. I fear for his sanity.
There is never enough coffee or patience.
With all of the ugliness in the world, sometimes, we forget how easy it is to be kind.
