I am back with another used K-cup project! I told you I was going to find more ways to use these K-cups and here is one more! With New Year’s Eve happening in my house tomorrow night, with kids, I had to come up with a fun noise maker that wouldn’t drive me crazy! So here are my K-cup Noise Makers!
These are really simple to put together, make a great noise (that isn’t too loud or annoying) and are easy for the kids to carry around.
- 2 empty K-Cups per noise maker
- 1 piper cleaner
- a few beads
- paint in your desired colors
The assembly is pretty easy!
Insert the pipe cleaner into the pre-made hole in the used k-cup so that about 1/2 an inch is inside and fold it over. Add your beads into the bottom of the k-cup and then, put glue along the rim of the k-cup. Place the other k-cup on top so that they match up and hold them together for a minute or so. After that, set it down, pipe cleaner side up and put a little dab of glue where the pipe cleaner enters the k-cup. Let this dry for at least 30 minutes to an hour. Then, insert the other end of the pipe cleaner into the other hole and secure it with a dab of glue.
