Spring has finally arrived and the weather is AMAZING! We have April showers, fresh gusts of warm wind and that glorious Spring sunshine! (This post may contain affiliate links that help me support and maintain my blog.)
Along with some beautiful flowers, we also decided to do some container planting. Some of our containers are empty k cups! We used them to create our K-Cup Herb Garden!
Used k cups are really the perfect seeding vessel for gardening. The already have a hole at the bottom for draining and they are the perfect size for sprouting a herb garden! All you need is some soil (you can also add some of your used coffee grounds to your soil), a few used k cups and some herb seed packets and you can make your very own K-Cup Herb Garden!
You can also use this as a great fun and educational experience for your kids!
Also, with Earth Day coming up, planting new seeds and recycling products are a great way to celebrate the Earth!
