I am not one for making resolutions because I am lazy and they will never get completed. I do try though. Every year, I set a few goals and attempt to see them through, well, for the first couple weeks at least. There are some things that I know will get done! Yes, they will be done!
There will be blogging, of course! New content, new crafts, new recipes, more parenting shenanigans! 2015 will be an exciting year for the Domain of the Mad Mommy! My blog will officially be a business in 2015. I will also attend my first blogging conferences and events in 2015. I can’t tell you how stoked I am to have you guys come along for the ride!
2. Eat Better!
I have plans to eat better. Better, but probably not less. I love to eat! I have already cut out pop and that was my biggest hurdle! I am going to limit myself on coffee, because I drink way too much of it. So, I will have 2 cups in the morning and then drink water. Yes, water. My body needs it and I get that now. I am also cutting down on sweets, pastas and breads. There will be a ton of fruits and veggies, lots of lean meats, eggs, yogurt and cottage cheese! Plus smoothies! Oh yes, smoothies made in my new Ninja! (Thank you, hubby!) I have also been pinning good recipes and information, here and here.
3. Becoming Members!
We are becoming members of a local, hands on science museum and we couldn’t be more excited! The museum runs on donations and also offers homeschool days. They have engineering classes, science camps and even, pre-k mornings. We are so excited to be members. Buying a membership helps keep the museum running and also allows us to go whenever we would like and attend whatever classes, camps and special events that we choose. Totally worth it!
4. Meeting Friends!
I have plans. Plans involving other bloggers! Some logistics still need to be worked out, but there are a few of my fellow bloggers that I am DETERMINED to meet in 2015! I am hoping that a lot of us will get to meet at the blogging convention, however, if alternate plans need to be made, they will be made! You ladies know who you are!
Did I just type that?
Yes, yes I did.
I have to get organized in the new year! Seriously, my 3 year old still has 12 month old clothes in her dresser and infant toys in her toy box. I am a notorious procrastinator, so I need to write this here to hold myself accountable. I have already started organizing by purchasing this AMAZING blog planner from Sarah at My Joy-filled Life! I also have a planner for my home-life and my trusty Google calendar!
So yes, organization will be happening on the blog and at home!
There you have it.
5 things I WILL do in 2015!
