If you have kids, then you have puzzle pieces.
Random pieces to puzzles that have lost their partners and shall never be put together again.
What do you do?
Throw them away?
Think Outside The Toy Box and try some DIY Puzzle Art!
This is a project that can easily appeal to all ages and you can use different techniques! It also encourages creativity, fine motor skills and they can create their own wall art!
- Various Puzzle Pieces (the cardboard ones)
- Kid-friendly Paint
- Canvas ($2.97 for a 2 pack)
- Masking tape
For my ALMOST 3 year old, I prepped a canvas for her by taping puzzle pieces to it.
Then, I gave her some paint and let her go for it!
Once it was dry, I peeled the puzzle pieces off.
She was so proud of her art when it was dry!
I also created some art.
|Though one may be different, we all come from the same tree.|
Rather than peeling off the puzzle pieces, I used them to create the top of the tree! Simple glue the cardboard puzzle pieces to the canvas and then paint.
They look pretty awesome on the wall.
This is part of the Think Outside The Toy Box series!
