It is the end of the week and that means it is time for #AskAwayFriday! Ask Away Friday is a blogger to blogger activity. Bloggers pair up, ask the other one questions and then answer that bloggers questions on their own blog! It is a fabulous way for bloggers from every niche to get to know each other!
have for someone who is struggling with coming to terms with coping with
depression and anxiety?
The best advice that I can give is don’t ignore it. I think as parents, we often put our own self-care on the back burner, forget about it and let it bubble over. Then we just end up angry with a big mess to clean up!
2. Are you planning on doing anything special with the family on the 4th
3. As a mom I am pretty protective over my children, do you allow yours to
play outside unattended?
4. I love all of your thinking outside of the toy box posts, so far which
project is your favorite?
5. If you could go back in time and write to your former teenage self,
what would you tell yourself to do differently?
e=”background-color: white;” />6. I recently read Mother of All Meltdowns, what was your favorite story
or the one that you could relate to the most?
post, do you think moms always feel guilty for feeling this way about
their children? After all we are all expected to have our stuff together
when it comes to caring for our children.
8. Autism, I wish that I knew more about it. I learned about autism after
I started blogging. As a special needs mom, do you have any advice for
parents who have a child that is newly diagnosed with Autism?
I fell into the read every book, check every site, listen to all advice trap. Guess what, it wasn’t what we needed. We needed to let our son be himself and we needed to adjust accordingly. EVERY child on the spectrum is different. If you have met one kid with Autism, then you have met ONE kid with Autism. There is no cookie cutter, quick fix.
9.I am starting to feel overwhelmed with review requests, do you have any
tips on how to keep up with everything that you have committed? I am a fly
by the seat of my pants when it comes to blogging.
As far as reviews go, I am very picky about the ones that I accept. I also make sure that I give myself plenty of time to test the product/service and then write about it. I pretty much never have anything completely done until the VERY end of my deadline!
isty, thank you so much for swapping with me! I can’t wait to see how you answered my questions!
