It’s Friday! I guess you know what that means! It’s time for #AskAwayFriday! The awesome blogger to blogger hop, where bloggers exchange questions and then answer them on their respective blogs!
Meet Rabia and her family!
I often romanticize my name by telling people that I am named after “Echo the Nymph” from Greek Mythology.
So much cooler than the truth.
Me? A drama llama?
Ok, yeah. I am a total drama llama. My favorite place online to find drama is Facebook. I totally keep people on my friend list just because of their drama. I may not even like said people. *shifty eyes*
When Facebook fails me, I watch horribly tacky TV like Teen Mom, My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, True Tori and 16 and Pregnant.
Boys and girls are different. First off, little girls have the cutest clothes and accessories. Although, I wish I had been a blogger when I had my son because now I know where all the cool stuff is.
My boy has always been a boy. Destructive, mischievous and hell-bent on world domination.
My girl has always been my girl. Nurturing, manipulative and highly intelligent.
My children are the future and the future is coming. Brace yourself society.
This happened to me at a surprisingly young age. My little sister is 8 years younger than me and I seem to remember my mom’s words coming out of my mouth and directed towards her. If I remember right it was, “Do I have a stupid stamp on my forehead? No? I thought I had to if you expected me to believe that bullshit!” Ahh, yes, passable parenting has always come naturally to me.
Oh, this is an evil, evil question. I would have to pick the itch. My husband gets hiccups that last for days and they are horrible for him. I don’t want that!
My favorite cure for the hiccups?
Have someone put a pen in their mouth lengthwise and then have them turn around with their back to you. Tell them to “Wait for it.” Repeat a couple times. Then you are done. The anticipation of WHAT you are going to do takes the hiccups away!
My kids are pretty awesome.
Royal pains in my ass, but awesome.
My son has spent the past 2 weeks reading. Like hardcore reading. A book every 2 days type of reading. He is reading the Wimpy Kid series. Pretty impressive for a 2nd grader, but then again, he is no ordinary 2nd grader.
So much swagger.
My daughter is extremely funny and expressive. She has learned how to tell jokes and then say, “I’m so funny!” She has so many funny faces. I adore her sense of humor!
Girl of a thousand faces!
Don’t make me laugh.
Ohhhh, the time question. So hard to choose. I think I would go into the past though. I really don’t want to see what is coming. It could be kind of fun to see what has happened though!
I don’t regularly donate monetarily to charity, but when I do, it is usually Autism Speaks or the American Cancer Society. Both have touched my life. I do like to help though! I like to donate food to food banks, rescue animals and I will also pull over and give homeless people whatever food is in my car. I usually don’t give them money because I never have any, hahaha! I was always raised to respect the elderly as well. I will hold open doors, carry bags and reach things on high shelves!
Wanna swap questions? Let me know!
