Now, I’m the teacher giving dirty looks.
I did not like school.
School and I had issues.
I even ended up going to Alternative schools and Night school.
No. It really wasn’t.
I never, in a million years, thought that I would become a homeschooler.
So, we pulled him out.
Since then, he has improved!
We are, enrolling him in public school, part-time.
This way, he can participate in DAPE, which is Adaptive Phys Ed.
He needs it.
I need it.
Hopefully, it will work out.
Now, I like to imagine that as a teacher, I am like this:
Take away the awesome dresses, throw some pajama pants on her and BAM!
Not so much.
I think I may be more like this:
Ah, Ms Krabappel. You poor, misunderstood soul.
You just needed some coffee, some wine, an ambien and alone time.
I get that!
Ok, so I’m not really that bad.
I think I can be a bit of both.
Being a homeschool mom/teacher is a double edged sword.
I can be a stressful and thankless job!
It can also be extremely rewarding and fulfilling!
I’m not gonna lie though.
The things I’m about to show you happen.
Weekly, Daily, Whatever.
Just know, they happen!
So, there you have it.
I may be done with school but, I still deal with it everyday!
