I decided that it would be a good time to do an art project with the kids. I wanted a piece of art that would last linger than construction paper. I wanted something that I could hang on my living room wall!
So, I bought a couple of canvas’ from Walmart for like $7.00 and decided to let my kids loose on them.
I set up the paint. Ice cube trays, the best painter’s pallet for kids! Works amazingly! 2 for $1.00!
I put painter’s tape on the canvas’ because I wanted to create some nice lines and I wanted the pictures to flow together nicely. (Not easy with a 7 yr old and a 2 year old)
Then, I let their creativity go. Create, my children, create!
We let them dry and then peeled off the painter’s tape.
Then, we hung the gorgeous masterpieces up in our living room!
I think they look amazing!
We also went to the park and I let their energy go.
Play, my children, play!
After the park, we came home and the kids took naps!
Sleep, my children, sleep!
What a glorious Labor Day! I hope you enjoyed yours as well!
