I crave Asian food. The salty, sweet and robust flavor that gets imparted into the meat. The luscious sauce that coats my mouth. Yum!
I used to buy packets of seasonings in order to obtain these flavors at home. Although packets are nice and convenient, I prefer to know exactly what is going into my food.
After much experimentation, I finally came up with a simple marinade that delivers all of those exotic Asian flavors that I crave.
I am going to show you how to make the marinate with beef but, it is also amazing with chicken, pork and even shrimp!
Here is what you need:
Thinly slice your meat and chop up your scallions.
Place your meat and scallions into the Ziploc bag and seal it. Try to squeeze as much air out as possible. Roll the bag around in your hands, make sure that the meat gets evenly coated and the scallions are even disbursed.
