Reading, writing and motor skills. The dreaded 3 for my son. Normally, if asked to this at school, my son would come unhinged. These 3 areas are difficult for him. He doesn’t like it when things are difficult because he can’t be perfect. Today, reinforced my decision to keep him home. He did fantastic!
His little sister was “practicing” as well!
Having an activity for my daughter to do while my son completes lessons is so important. Not only is she learning and feeling involved but it allows for less distractions. These little white boards are great! I got them from the dollar store.
“Crafting” as my son calls it, is really a way for me to get him to work on fine motor skills. It is awesome to get my daughter using her fine motor skills too!
So many skills from a box of beads and a pipe cleaner.
Pinching, grasping, texture and colors!
Threading, sequencing, measurement and coordination!
It was a fabulous day of reading, writing and motor skills here! I hope you have a fabulous day too!
